General Information
Abstract: Clear Creek drainage basin contains fluviatile gravels which have been explored and mined for placer gold since the early 1900's. This paper briefly describes the various fluvial sediments in Clear Creek drainage basin, interprets the described facies, and outlines the fluvial environment which influences the distribution of placer gold in Clear Creek gravels.
