Work History
Gypsum was reported from this location by the GSC in 1967. An area 3 km to the west was staked as Mac & Colt cl (YA97427) in Jun/87 by R. Empey, and fringe staked to the north with Don cl (YB8574) in Oct/87 by R. Quesnel. In Jun/88, the Don claims were transferred to Avanti Mls L and then Gold City Res Inc, which prospected and sampled later that year.
Capsule Geology
Gypsum occurs along a thrust faulted contact between a Cretaceous diorite intrusion and Upper Triassic Nikolai Greenstone.
