Work History
A large number of fringe claims were staked in this vicinity between Nov/72 and Apr/73 and were explored with mapping and geochem surveys in 1973. The staking includes Bea, Dop & Nor cl (A49801) of Makaoo Dev L, explored by Torwest Res L; Bank cl (Y71002) of Colt Res L; PB cl (Y70843) of Tanzilla EL; AT cl 1-16 (Y71902) in Dec/72 by J.D. Poliquin and acquired in 1973 by M. Black who carried out geochemical soil sampling; and Ann cl (T37418) of S. Aitken.
The Bank group was restaked as Par cl (A56205 & Y93611) by Canex Placer in Sep/75 after the location of the Yukon-NWT border was found to be in error. The Nor group was partly restaked as OHNO cl (YA25700) in Sep/77 by Itsi JV (Aquitaine, St Joseph & Union OL), which performed mapping and an EM survey in 1978.

Capsule Geology
The claims cover a narrow belt of Ordovician to Lower Devonian Road River Formation shale bounded by Cambro-Ordovician Rabbitkettle Formation limestone and Devono-Mississippian clastic rocks. Overburden cover is extensive in low areas and no mineralization has been found.
