Work History

Staked as Tranz cl (YA68631) in July/82 by ZX JV (Chevron Can L, Enterprise EL & SMD Mg L), which performed limited mapping and geochemical sampling later in the year.

Capsule Geology

The claims were staked over zinc-rich transported limonite gossans (ferricrete) precipitated in creeks draining fine grained clastic rocks of the Ordovician to Lower Devonian Road River Formation, or the Devono-Mississippian Earn Group. The property lies adjacent to the regional Beaver Fault. Values of up to 2.7% Zn, 6500 ppm Ni and 1500 ppm Co were obtained from ferricrete specimens.
