Work History
Staked as Jane cl (Y95293) in Aug/74 by a joint venture between Great Plains Dev CL and Kerr Addison ML, which carried out mapping and geochem sampling in 1974 and 1975. Great Plains changed its name to Norcen Energy Res L in 1976.
Restaked as Wendy cl (YA62558) in Jun/81 by Mattagami Lake ML, which performed mapping and geochem surveys in 1981 and 1982. Mattagami's assets were acquired by Noranda in 1982.
Capsule Geology
Great Plains staked a weak Zn-Cu soil anomaly on a ridge. It occurs in Permian shale and lower Middle Devonian silicified crinoidal limestone within the core of a syncline. Mattagami investigated another anomaly slightly lower in the section.
