Work History
Staked as Topazios cl (Y18837) in Jun/67 & Jan/68 by Topazios Mg & EL, adjoining the New Imperial ML property. The company earlier acquired a single Crown Grant, Spring Creek, adjoining the Empress of India deposit of New Imperial. Mapping, geochem and geophysical surveys were conducted in 1968, followed by trenching in 1969. Canex optioned the property briefly in 1970 and conducted more geophysics before drilling 3 holes (398.1 m). Topazios conducted a small mapping program on the Dobie group (Y24670) in 1973 and transferred the property in 1975 to Larson Copper Corp L, which performed bulldozer trenching in 1975-78. Larson restaked most of the property as Hell cl (YA50536) in 1977-78 and continued bulldozer trenching and hand trenching annually from 1978 to 1987. In 1987, the claims were transferred to H.A. Larson, Jr , who did drilling and blasting in 1989. L. Lebedoff tied on Fox cl (YB27111) to the northwest in Jan/90.
Capsule Geology
The property is entirely underlain by the Whitehorse stock. No significant mineralization has been reported.
