Summary: A Yukon-wide compilation of 1102 till geochemistry samples collected during 4 regional till sampling surveys conducted by Yukon Geological Survey in the Faro/Anvil Range, Weasel Lake, Finlayson Lake and Glenlyon/East Carmacks areas between 1998 and 2002. Complete analytical results for more than 40 elements are included in the attribute table for each sample.

Description
This compilation incorporates till geochemistry analytical data for 1102 samples (including 66 field and analytical duplicates) collected from four separate regional till sampling areas:
1) Faro/Anvil Range - (NTS 105K, YGS 1998-1999, 318 samples)
2) Weasel Lake - (NTS 105G/13, YGS 2000, 159 samples)
3) Finlayson Lake - (NTS 105G, YGS/GSC 2001, 311 samples)
4) Glenlyon/East Carmacks - (NTS 105L & 115I, YGS/GSC 2002, 314 samples)
Yukon Geological Survey (YGS) conducted all four surveys, with collaboration by the Geological Survey of Canada (GSC) on the Finlayson Lake and Glenlyon surveys. For more information on each project area, consult the references provided below.
Complete analytical results for over 40 elements are included in the attribute table for each sample (see field descriptions for full list of elements, and note that each sample may not have been analyzed for every element). Also note that where negative values occur, the minus sign actually indicates a “less than” symbol (<) as the results were below the detection limit.
This dataset will be updated as new till geochemistry sampling is completed in the territory. Any errors noted by users of this data should be promptly reported to the Yukon Geological Survey.
